Since opening our doors in 2008, Josh and Tammy Proch have grown Pittsburgh North Fitness into the area’s premier gym for fitness after 40. What began as a team-training focused facility has evolved into a gym designed for men and women in their 40s, 50s, 60s, and beyond who want to feel strong, confident, and at home in their fitness journey.

Over the years, our community shaped our direction. We listened closely to what people truly wanted: more personalized coaching, more accountability, and an environment that feels welcoming, not intimidating. That’s why our programs have shifted from large group bootcamps to a focus on 1-on-1 Private Training, Semi-Private Training, and Nutrition Coaching designed specifically for people over 40. Every program is built to give you the individualized support you need—without the pressure, crowds, or chaos of a typical gym.
