Nutrition can be confusing, after all there are many different plans out there all claiming to be the next best thing.
But, do you want to know what they all have in common?
Calorie-Restriction. (At least if weight/fat loss is the goal.)
To make things easier for our nutrition clients we like to incorporate the Hand-Size Portion model from Precision Nutrition. This helps clients easily reduce portion size and get into a calorie deficit without counting calories and tracking everything they eat.
From there we focus on improving the quality of the foods they eat using another PDF from Precision Nutrition showing which foods to eat more of, some of, and less of.
