Fitness after 40 requires a different plan of action. What works in your 20’s and 30’s is no longer as effective as it used to be.
Since 2002 the majority of the clients we have worked with at Pittsburgh North Fitness have been over the age of 40. Our clients have included everyone from the busy mom to the deadline stressed business executive who is looking to get back into shape, increase energy, and just feel good again.
What they all have in common when we first meet with them is that what worked in the past no longer works as well, they don’t know where to start, their time is limited, and they don’t want to get hurt in process.
This is why we have created our “FA40 System”. This system is designed specifically for the client over 40 to get them the results they are looking for, in the shortest time possible.
So what makes up the “FA40 System”?
• We start with our Starting Point Session where we build each clients Fitness Blueprint based on their goals and needs.
• We take all clients through a 7-Point Movement Screening to look at how their body moves to determine the right exercises for them and level to start them out.
• Each client is taken through an InBody Analysis that looks at his or her body composition, metabolic rate, and hydration level. This gives us a baseline to measure progress and determine the appropriate recommendations.
• We start with mastering basic exercises and progressing each client, as they are ready overtime.
• Nutrition is made simple by using habits instead of another diet plan.
Each client is different and has different needs and abilities, which is why we need an individualized approach.
