Foam Rolling…you might not like it, but your body will thank you for it.
At PNF we like to start each workout with a few minutes of foam rolling before warming up because have found it improves the following:
- It gives provides a better warm-up than if we skip it.
- It allows for more range of motion in movements.
- It decreases sensitivity in high-sensitive tissues by taking the breaks off and allowing for better movement.
- Clients feel “looser” after doing it.
Below is a short video of the main areas we always like to foam roll before a workout. Of course there are more that can be done, but these are the ones we like to start with.
